At the 2018 NAACP Image Awards on Jan. 15, Tracee won Outstanding Actress in a Comedy Series for her lead role in Black-ish. This wasn’t surprising, because anyone who has seen the show knows that she plays the matriarch of the family with as much heartfelt emotion as laugh-out-loud humor.

Along with taking home the award, Tracee had an especially successful night on the red carpet. She wore a slinky gold, sequined dress that hugged her curves perfectly, and her statement fur coat added a layer of glam to the ensemble.
