How to Create a WhatsApp QR Code for Your Business

Last updated: 2026-10-30

Let customers message you on WhatsApp with a single scan — no need to save your number.

Open the WhatsApp QR Code Generator →

Create the QR code

  1. Open the WhatsApp QR Code Generator.
  2. Enter your country code (91 for India) and your WhatsApp number without the leading 0.
  3. Optionally write a first message, such as "Hi, I'd like to place an order."
  4. Check that the preview says the code scans correctly, then scan it with your own phone to test.
  5. Download SVG for printing or PNG for sharing online.

How it works

The code contains a WhatsApp click-to-chat link: https://wa.me/ followed by your full number and, optionally, ?text= with your message. Scanning opens WhatsApp with a chat to you and the message ready to send. The customer still has to press Send — nothing happens automatically.

Because the link is stored directly in the code, it never expires and doesn't depend on CentralMirror or any other service staying online.

Where to use it

  • Shop counters, menus, delivery bags and visiting cards.
  • Posters and flyers — print at least 2–3 cm wide, larger if people will scan from a distance.
  • Your website or social profile, so mobile visitors can tap and desktop visitors can scan.

Printing tips

  • Keep a dark code on a light background and leave the white border around the code.
  • If you add your logo, the tool switches to the highest error correction and re-checks that the code still scans.
  • Always test the printed code with two different phones before printing in bulk.
