Frequently asked questions

Does cropping reduce quality?

Cropping keeps the original pixels in the selected area. JPG and WebP files are re-saved at high quality (92%), which is visually indistinguishable for most images; PNG stays lossless.

How do I crop a photo for a form and then resize it?

Crop it here using the shape that matches your form (for example 3:4 or 3.5 × 4.5), download it, then open it in the Photo Resizer to set the exact pixels and KB limit.

Can I crop on my phone?

Yes. The crop box works with touch: drag inside to move and drag a corner to resize.
